Aerospace Fuel FMC Engineer Job in Pune at Eaton

Eaton is hiring for the role of Aerospace Fuel FMC Engineer!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Perform detailed engineering design of Aerospace Fuel System Products.
• Create innovative product concepts based on breakthrough technologies for aerospace applications.
• Lead sustaining engineering, VA/VE and runner projects independently.
• Perform design using CAD platforms such as CATIA, PRO/E, AutoCAD etc.
• Perform drawing quality checks for the drawings prepared by local and global teams.
• Perform Design for Manufacturability & Assembly assessment.
• Provide manufacturability perspective for early concepts and help validate through building appropriate designs. Assist with building prototypes that help in proof of concepts.
• Interact with global cross-functional teams
• Prepare technical design details & drawings in compliance to drawing standards as per prevailing engineering practices for Aerospace.  
• Creation of 3D models and drawings of the new product designs and modification of existing product drawings and models. 
• Create and sustain processes for design standards and procedures governing product design methods, documents, and data controls.

Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering.
• Desired: Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in engineering/product design, preferably in Aerospace Fuel System Products
• Proficiency in CAD tools; Preferably CATIA/ ProE and experience with PLM tools e.g. ENOVIA
• Proven track record in Engineering Designs, Drawings, and Tolerance Stack up analysis.
• Demonstrated expertise in Design for Manufacturing & Assembly.
• Expertise in Manufacturing Processes and Product qualification to analyze current product designs and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of cost out (VAVE) framework such as standardization and various costs (Overheads, material, labor, re-engineering, testing costs).  Cross-functional project execution experience with Cost out project focus. Have awareness of 'Should costing' approaches utilizing cost models and analysis results. 
• Experience with the Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), DMAIC methodology and tools necessary for product engineering.
• Strong and effective communication skills
