Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for requirements definition, design, implementation, and documentation of the platform.

Requirements:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar degree or related software equivalent experience
• Hands-on firmware development in C and C++
• Knowledge and experience in protocols and technology related to BMC (IPMI, I2C, SPI, RedFish, REST, OS Internals etc.)
• AMD and Intel server architecture experience
• Knowledge of Software development processes, working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multi-functional teams
• Knowledge of using a debugging tool
• Demonstrated ability in mentoring/developing junior staff members
• Strong analytical and debugging methodology skills expected
• Proficient at recognizing complex problems related to functional objectives
• Applies creativity and judgment to developmental work on different projects within the business environment
• Ability to analyze situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures, or processes
• Capable of controlling work priorities and methods requiring trade-offs
• Provides advice in technical/operational domain of specialization
• Ability to apply discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance to Lenovo
