PwC Consulting Solutions is hiring for the role of Advisory Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Independently manage transaction service projects of medium to large complexity.
• Apply strong business acumen and analytical skills in due diligence engagements.
• Identify issues for purchase price adjustments, working capital adjustments, and debt-related adjustments.
• Prepare and write client deliverables (reports, memos) and articulate point of view.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and make recommendations.
• Use technical accounting knowledge (Indian GAAP / Indian Accounting Standards) in assessments.
• Perform financial due diligence under the SOX / internal control frameworks.
• Use data analytics tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Power Pivot) to analyze financial data.
• Exhibit high integrity, ensuring accuracy and compliance in deliverables.

Requirements:

• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Strong audit-related skills
• Ability to identify issues for purchase price adjustments, working capital adjustments, and debt-like items
• Technically sound in Indian GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Familiarity with data and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Power Pivot
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to independently write deliverables and articulate viewpoints
• Ability to manage medium- to large-complexity projects independently
• Ability to build strong internal connections within the organization
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders on complex assessment issues
• Ability to document findings and propose recommendations
• Strong understanding of internal control concepts (preventive, detective, anti-fraud)
• Understanding of processes, sub-processes, activities, and their relationships
• Knowledge of COSO framework
• Knowledge of SOX / IFC concepts
• Comfortable working in an IC model or guiding associates
• Ability to assist in timely completion of tasks and client deliverables
• Good problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills
