Micron is hiring for the role of Advanced Modeling Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Develop and implement advanced modeling techniques to optimize process performance and yield.
- Utilize statistical and machine learning algorithms to analyze data and identify patterns.
- Create and validate predictive models to forecast process behavior and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems.
- Monitor and evaluate model performance, and make adjustments as needed.
- Stay abreast of the latest modeling techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Independence – be comfortable executing on projects and maintaining documentation
- Outstanding teamwork
- Experience with numerical methods and scientific computing
- Strong background in constitutive modeling in solid mechanics
- Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning concepts and applications
- Familiarity with thermo-mechanical modeling
- Experience with FEA tools
- Experience with ANSYS, Simcenter3D, Abaqus, COMSOL
- Strong debug and problem-solving skills
- Experience in writing reports and conference papers
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a team environment and experience with remote collaboration tools
- Background in semiconductor industry is desirable
