Accreditation Officer Job in Delhi at ACCA

ACCA is hiring for the role of Accreditation Officer! 

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• As part of monitoring processes, selecting and conducting desk-based reviews of key accredited partners to ensure they continue to meet ACCA’s exemption accreditation requirements. 
• Where necessary, visiting key accredited partners to review teaching and exam delivery to ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Proactively reviewing advertising by accredited partners to ensure compliance against advertising regulations and applying sanctions where required.
• During peak times, reviewing and processing accreditation applications from institutions based in India and potentially further afield.
• Conducting proactive monitoring of the regulatory landscape, changing trends in HE and skills development to ensure that continues to meet regulatory compliance and best practice.
• Providing advice and training on ACCA’s accreditation policy and advertising regulations to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including learning partners and universities.
• Supporting the Accreditation Manager with the implementation of systems and procedures which support the efficient operation of ACCA’s accreditation policies.
• Contributing to the effective delivery of ACCA’s objectives and strategies and undertaking such other duties as may arise from time to time.

Requirements:

• Educated to degree level in Accounting or Finance. Holding a relevant professional qualification is considered advantageous.
• Has relevant work experience in quality assurance / monitoring and compliance preferably in the higher education sector.
• Has excellent IT skills with a working knowledge of Word, Excel and database manipulation.
• Is highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic, with the ability to work on own initiative and flexibly as part of a wider team.
• Has relevant experience of applying appropriate judgement in situations within the remit of role.
• Is receptive to working in a changing and be willing to take on cross-team responsibilities as required.
• Is able to demonstrate excellent organisation skills and a methodical approach to work.
• Is able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels advising senior management and senior individuals in business as well as students and trainees.
• Is able to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines while dealing with competing priorities.
