Accounts Payable Analyst Job in Bangalore at Huron

Huron is hiring for the role of Accounts Payable Analyst! 

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy
• Coordinate with the Accounting Manager and AP Team
• Cross-checking whether all the forms and invoices have the necessary details to process requests
• Work on assistance of vendor payments and expense reimbursements
• Co-ordinate with A/P Team members on Vendor creations
• Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices, or correspondence necessary for files by creating folders
• This role will periodically monitor the Accounts Payable mailbox, aiding employees, vendors, clients, and key corporate personnel
• Collaborate with team members within our US and India offices
• Review vendor invoices for completeness and accuracy, ensuring the required backup and approvals are included
• Understanding of the Supplier Setup Process
• Follow Up on outstanding items and maintain trackers
• Ability to create process documentation and email templates
• Record vendor payment requests, with accurate coding of costs to client and internal projects.
• Active Coordination with internal business to get correct codes and documents via emails, calls
• Processing of Ad Hoc requests (Honorariums and Matching Gifts)
• Create and maintain a system for obtaining and filing vendor W9/ W8 forms and ACH/Wire forms
• Working on past-due reports or in-progress reports
• Additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution
• 0-1 years of relevant professional experience
• Advanced English skills, including excellent business writing skills and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise, and accurate responses
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate to advanced Excel
• Strong attention to detail. Interest in accomplishing goals and exceeding expectations
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to both internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional degree such as B. Com, M.B.A., Accounting Background
• Strong controllership focus
• Workday Experience Preferred
• Ability to do R&D and brainstorm
• Fast and accurate data entry skills
• Experience in financial software package
