Accounting Associate Job in Hyderabad at Cubic

Cubic is hiring for the role of Accounting Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform all bank reconciliations including foreign currency accounts ensuring revaluation has been correctly calculated and reconciling differences are investigated on a timely basis.
• Initiate wire and ACH payments on local banking platforms for approval by the EMEA Controller/EMEA Treasury Accountant/Accounting Manager.
• Posting of cash disbursements on a daily basis.
• Parking of journal entries.
• Raising of Finance-related PRs.
• Other duties as necessary

Requirements: 

• Four-year college degree in accounting plus a minimum of 1-2 years of public accounting experience and/or transactional accounting experience, preferably in a contracting and/or manufacturing environment. 
• CPA certification or MBA preferred. 
• Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting requirements. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel and Office) programs, SAP and Blackline. 
• Ability to effectively interface with similar levels of personnel, management and external auditors. 
• Good oral and written communication skills. 
• Able to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, work under deadline stresses, work with a computer for an extended period of time, concentrate and stay focused.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are required. Limited to travel including international.
