Accounting Associate Internship in Gurgaon at GLG

GLG is hiring for the role of Accounting Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Maintain timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
• Respond to vendors and other stakeholder on their queries.
• Month-end closing activities like booking of accruals, reversals, prepaid expenses, etc.
• Prepare detailed account analysis and reconciliation for various balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in audits.
• Process improvements & automation.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and requests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience in an MNC or a public accounting firm in handling Indian accounting & compliances.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles & taxation laws.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships across the company’s operations.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• Experience with the Great Plains would be preferable.
