ABB is hiring for the role of Accounting and Reporting!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Performing general accounting activities and reviewing financial transactions on a daily basis.
• Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts for discrepancies in an automated environment.
• Leading the Balance Sheet reviews for the Electrification business Area.
• Executing accounting analyses and reports to support finance and business leaders.
• Managing stakeholder communication by providing analytical insights and recommendations.
• Preparing reports, statements of accounts, reconciliations, and control testing for applicable controls.
• Monitoring review points end-to-end and driving closure with respective countries and controllers.
• Performing review of reconciled GL accounts in the group tool

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or CA/ CMA in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in R2R (Record to Report), Balance Sheet Reviews, Reconciliations, General Accounting, General Ledger, and SAP.
• Strong proficiency in SAP; experience with SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Flexible to work across shift timings and capable of working under pressure during month/quarter-end closures.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Mandatory working from office; hybrid mode available only at manager’s discretion.
• Passionate, detail-oriented, and innovative in approach.
