Amazon is hiring for the role of Accounting Analyst II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Key responsibility is to timely complete accurate reconciliations (daily and monthly) and its further review and approvals from a supervisor.
• Working with key stakeholders/AMZL finance partners for reconciliation, accounting, and reporting activities.
• Monitoring, investigating, and resolving daily/monthly reconciliations. Close open items and work cordially with respective POCs in clearing recons.
• Assisting Leads and Managers in managing daily operations.
• Identifying gaps in the process and working with stakeholders and management to streamline the process.
• Focusing on inventing and simplifying by identifying opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate various processes and regular reporting.
• Delivering key insights with minimal guidance from stakeholders or managers, demonstrating ownership by taking issues to closure and working in partnership with different business teams.
• Managing ambiguous new business use cases also involves sharing knowledge/best practices with the team to upskill them.
• Maintaining SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) relevant to process and update changes regularly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com)
• Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• 2+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience
