Accounting Analyst Job in Bangalore at Societe Generale

Societe Generale is hiring for the role of Accounting Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage seamless delivery of day-to-day operations and ensure the accuracy of financial figures recorded for the assigned perimeter
• Clear old unreconciled amounts in provision accounts, fixed assets, PSGL, and PS expenses YTD
• Adhere to the checklist drawn up for service delivery based on the SLA with the client
• Ensure compliance with Information Security and Data Privacy Laws as part of service delivery
• Follow SOP and ensure it remains current
• Ensure accounts certified for BCT as reconcilers & owners are properly reconciled and supported with adequate evidence.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and onshore and offshore delivery centers for smooth service delivery, transitions/migrations.
• Handle customer queries (emails & calls) and ensure customer satisfaction
• Perform month-end activities/checks and ensure smooth closing
• Adhere to various controls designed for accurate and risk-free operations
• Provide data for testing the adherence and effectiveness of controls when required

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of working experience in the accounting domain.
• B.com or equivalent educational qualification
• Good understanding of Accounting, month end process
• Experience in fixed asset module
• Good interpersonal skills and communication
