Qatar Airways is hiring for the role of Accountant-Record to Report!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Performing period-end closing activity i.e.GL processing, provisioning, GL scrutiny, accruals posting & bank & intercompany reconciliations
  • Performing data entry & booking of general entries in ERP
  • Providing financial data per deliverables
  • Ensuring on-time closing of books of accounts & preparing financial statements & reviewing GL schedules
  • Maintaining fixed assets register
  • Preparing all reconciliations & schedules on a monthly basis for internal review & yearly for audit purposes
  • Supporting tax-related activities (filing, liaising & assessment) for all applicable regions
  • Supporting in internal & external audit

Requirements:

  • CA (Final/ Inter)/ Bachelor’s degree in business/ accounting/ finance or similar area of study with a minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Prefer candidates from the Airline industry or tax consultants.
  • Prefer user-level experience on Oracle/ SAP/ other ERPs.
