Accountant Job in Gurgaon at SOTI

SOTI is hiring for the role of Accountant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform bank reconciliation, including BRS, to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Conduct general ledger reconciliation, including but not limited to prepaid, accruals, investment, APIC, RE, and other areas, to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
• Responsible for global accounting, including month-end and year-end activities for all international entities.
• Prepare and file monthly withholding taxes.
• Assist with collating samples during audits.
• Coordinate with global time zones and assist in cross-functional communication and collaboration.
• Perform accounts receivable reconciliation with customers to tie back the receivable balance.
• Bring forth any key issues/concerns from day-to-day accounting.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks when required.

Requirements:

• A graduate degree in B.Com, BBA, or MBA
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadline
• Good communication skills in English
• Basic understanding of general laws in India (Income Tax Act, GST Act)
