Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring for the role of Account Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Achieve or exceed sales plan by maintaining existing customer business and developing new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Work with the technical sales team to establish our products well as per client requirements.
  • Drive sales activity generate opportunity covering territory assigned in part of North-East territory and willing to travel extensively.
  • Develop relationships at the key accounts to build a positive relationship for growing and expanding the business opportunities for the Bioscience division.
  • Deliver bookings and revenues on the Annual Sales Plan in line with the Sales budget defined.
  • Be accountable for the commercial performance and growth in the share of wallet of the designated account with product mix performance and innovative solutions.
  • Provide quarterly and monthly prospect pipeline and revenue forecast across all business units.
  • Collaborate with Internal Support Function teams to develop joint initiatives and provide appropriate customer support to improve customer allegiance scores.
  • Manage channel partners effectively and prior experience will be preferable.
  • Map and report of direct and indirect sales in the account.
  • Ensure the supplies to the account by coordinating with the operations team.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications & Experience: Postgraduate preferably in BioScience/MBA/Management
  • Proven track record in sales and experience with academic, healthcare, and pharma/biopharma customers
  • Experience in Northeast & West Bengal will be preferred
  • Sound knowledge of compliance and process management
  • Reliable forecasting and modeling capability
  • Strong communication, presentation, and commercial skills
  • Must have a scientific way of thinking and establishing concepts
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of data management
  • Go-getter drives actions with passion and serves as a consultant to the target accounts
  • Team player
  • Implement account-specific strategic plans
  • Have very strong convincing and influencing skills
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time region
