Account Manager Internship in Kolkata at Danaher

Phenomenex & Agela is hiring for the role of Account Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide sales and technical support to customers on a regular and ongoing basis. 
• Originate phone calls, respond to incoming calls, and provide technical information about chromatography-related products and services.
• Ensure that the assigned territory meets sales and unit goals.
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations and/or technical seminars.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
• Develop business plans, market analysis, and sales strategies for assigned territory.
• Maintain a positive attitude, be a team player, and strive to learn and contribute to company culture.
• Manage and maintain information in the customer database system (MSCRM).
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and management.
• Build referral and lead generation networks, address client concerns, and handle calls that require manager involvement.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or Bachelor's in any Life Science required
• At least three (2-3) years of experience in Sales
• Very good interpersonal skills as well as listening and communication skills
• Motivation and desire to be successful with a “can do” approach, maintaining a positive attitude, being a Team player, striving to learn and contribute to company culture
• Must be able to present clearly and to large groups, i.e., seminars and trainings
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and matrices
• Laboratory with Hands-on experience in chromatography using HPLC
