Account & Client Manager - International Hotels Internship in Gurgaon at MakeMyTrip (MMT)

MakeMyTrip is hiring for the role of Account & Client Manager - International Hotels!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Connect with top-level management of branded hotels such as Taj, Leela, ITC, Sarovar, and Lemon Tree, and manage key chain hotels to drive sustainable performance at a unit level across the portfolio
• Collaborate with portfolio partners, providing expertise, metrics, analysis, and recommendations based on industry best practices
• Drive portfolio growth by developing business plans to achieve revenue goals, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and maintaining rate competitiveness across multiple platforms
• Conduct data analysis, establish supplier relationships, train partner hotels, review production reports, and plan market site visits
• Build MIS and market intelligence reports, develop geography and service-specific sales plans, and share insights on the market and industry with clients and internal stakeholders
• Utilize negotiation skills for networking, deal initiation, and closure, strategizing to effectively market hotels and support partners in meeting customer needs and business growth

Requirements:

• MBA from a reputed institute with 2 to 4 years of experience working in sales, account &client management, contracting, and relationship management. Prefer someone from the internet/ e-commerce industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent personal and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse set of individuals, including building strong partnerships with other teams and departments
• Ability to work under pressure in a competitive industry/rapidly changing environment
• The mindset that will constantly think about Return on Investment and business
• Strong communication and influencing skills, great interpersonal & stakeholder management skills
• High on energy, team player coupled with a great attitude
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is essential
