Nokia is hiring for 6G Ecosystem and Standardization Architect!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Lead 6G ecosystem engagements in India• Drive Global Harmonization of Industry Standards• Contribute to 3GPP and leading key associations.
• Shapes and leads large efforts of standards and industry specifications work with strategic relevance to Nokia business.
• Contributes to functional vision and strategy resulting from standardisation consideration.
• Consistently interacts with key customers on CTO-3 level and similar on standardisation-related topics.
• Ensures Nokia-wide industry engagement by driving alignment and clarifying membership issues with various Nokia business interests.• Analyse trends in industry and technology emerging out of India ecosystem with regards to their relevance for 5G Advanced and 6G.
• Create a vision for and strategy to develop the new functions to be supported by 5G-Advanced and 6G in the future.
• Collaborate with the Nokia business groups and customer projects, and engage with customers and ecosystem partners as part of the research and standardization process• Creates IPR (SEP/SW) on high level, consistently and very valuable topics, as well as acts as authority and senior advisor/expert in monetisation activities in certain areas

Requirements:

• A computer science or electrical engineering MSc degree, or equivalent.
• 5 or more years of experience in research, collaborative projects, standardization bodies and experience with writing on technical topics.
• A proven track record in standardisation and excellent negotiation and consensus building skills
• Knowledge of communication technologies such as, 5G, edge-cloud, IoT, Industry 4.0, etc. and awareness of 6G technologies.
• Proven strong analytical thinking, ability to address complex problems and find innovative/disruptive solutions in multicultural
  engineering, research and standardization environments and other types of industries
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work autonomously and be part of virtual, international and distributed teams
