Landor is hiring for the role of 3D Retail Designer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Creative Concepting - Collaborate with Creative Directors, Designers, and Creative Technologists to create concepts that are inventive, strategic, and create meaningful experiences for audiences.
• 3D Development - Create user experience, environmental design, and/or product design depending on the concept and project needs. Contribute to key decisions around the experience throughout the duration of a project, ensuring that the design and conceptual vision remains consistent and on brand
• Idea Communication - Clearly articulating key points and creative decisions. Contribute to concepting discussions with internal teams to thoroughly explain decisions and processes so that clients not only approve them, but understand why they were made.
• Bring Ideas to Fruition - Contribute to the project needs at every stage, including concepting, pre-production, and production.
• Creative Excellence - Champion best practices to produce best in class experiences across a variety of verticals and projects. Tap into culture and stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies.

Requirements: 

• Experiential Design - Own all experiential aspects of a project including physical design (form, materials, fit/finish) and experience design (user journey, layout, flow)
• Concept Development - Craft cross-discipline ideas from the ground up including any supporting visuals.
• Fabrication Oversight - Oversee the creation and fabrication process with both our internal teams and external vendors/freelancers.
• 3D Modeling - Proficient in either SketchUp or Rhino, strong preference to candidates with Rhino experience and Enscape familiarity. Must be able to quickly and thoughtfully visualize concepts.
• Concept Visualization - Communicate abstract concepts with compelling visual mockups using whatever media you feel most comfortable with: sketching, rendering, photoshop, AI, etc.
