UBS is hiring for the role of .Net Azure Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and enhance digital products and technology services.
• Analyze user needs and implement new features.
• Conduct automated testing and facilitate deployment of software.
• Ensure quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions.
• Implement functional and non-functional requirements.
• Build observability into solutions and monitor production health.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or equivalent, focusing on Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, Unix shell scripting, and job scheduling using Autosys or a similar tech stack.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server and Azure SQL, and familiarity with other database technologies such as NoSQL.
• Experience with cloud architecture and engineering, ideally on Microsoft Azure (Kubernetes Service, Container Apps, App Service, Functions, Event Grid, and Service Bus).
• Experience with messaging platforms, ideally Kafka and Microsoft SSIS technology.
• Experience with containers, ideally Kubernetes, and microservice and event-driven architecture.
• Agile, Test-Driven Development, and DevOps practices are part of your DNA.
• A software craftsperson focused on engineering best practices and delivering clean code.
